Boschendal 1685 Chardonnay
Chardonnay for this wine was selected from three areas: Stellenbosch, Elgin Valley and Boschendal Farm, from vineyards planted on well-drained soils. This gives complexity and character to the wine and zesty citrus with ripe tropical fruit flavours come through on the palate. This bold statement wine is big on aroma and flavours. A combination of lemon and orange zest, yellow fleshy soft fruits, enlaced with hints of cinnamon and white spice. Enjoy now but will age with much complexity for the next five to eight years.
